If the wedding of your dreams fits into any of the above categories, or
if you have something completely different in mind, this is the one for
you!
The way each of us picture our wedding is individual. I will be
delighted to assist you to translate your wishes into reality and make
them happen. It is not important to me whether you want a wedding
in
which you wear a traditional, floaty white wedding dress or jeans and
bare feet. It is only your commitment to each other and your
marriage which matters and I will support you whatever you want to wear
and whatever style of ceremony you choose.
Much as we would like it to, magic just doesn’t happen all on its
own. We have
to be creative and put plans into the background of the ceremony to
give the magic wand every opportunity to appear at just the right
moment and turn your dreams into reality..
After performing around seven hundred weddings, through my extensive
celebrancy
experience plus a flair for creativity and extensive knowledge of life
in
general, I’ve developed and perfected many unique and wonderful ways to
make your wedding truly happy without having to resort to the tired old
rituals, most of which are now inappropriate and meaningless, or giving
the
usual lecture about what marriage is or isn’t.
I am not the right
celebrant for you if would prefer a very ordinary,
same-old, boring, traditional, impersonal, lacklustre, lecturing,
meaningless, humourless ceremony – please don’t ring me as I’ll be busy!
However, if you would prefer something that
• features you and makes you the highlight of the day
• includes interest, light-heartedness and is
appropriately meaningful
• carries a relaxed and informal ambiance
• includes and acknowledges the significant people in
your life
• gives you the confidence that I will carry the
ceremony for you so that you can relax and enjoy it too
• and above all, ensures that you are legally married
– a fairly important feature of the day,
then please give me a ring on Ph: 5342 4113.
If you ring me, I promise that I will only talk with you long enough to
establish that we are on the ‘same train line’. I will not try
and talk you into meaningless, boring rituals; religious inclusions;
or bore you silly and waste your time, nor try to talk you into booking
me!

There are a couple of local venues where I am willing to perform the
ceremony but the full, comprehensive and transferrable rehearsal takes
place at my home/office or central Ballarat. This can be ascertained in
the initial phone call.
* A reasonable additional
charge may apply depending on the time or date of the
ceremony (eg evening or Christmas Day) or where the location of the
ceremony requires me
to travel beyond my normal area of operation.
