I am a full time, experienced civil celebrant
(Ballarat's most experienced civil celebrant)
who lives and works in Ballarat and the surrounding areas, and I have a
genuine passion to create meaningful, celebratory civil ceremonies to
honour a significant moment in your life.
My enthusiasm for recognising the important milestones in life is
reflected in the care and effort I put into creating and conducting
unique civil ceremonies. Each milestone in your life - whether it is
your marriage, a name
giving, a significant birthday, or any other
ceremonial occasion - is an achievement. I will therefore recognise it
as such, with a positive, celebratory civil ceremony that will provide
the basis for the next step in your life's journey.
As an experienced civil marriage celebrant, I don't rely on flowery
sentiments or long waffling phrases to give meaning to the ceremony or
to lecture you about the reasons why we are there. Nor do I use or
include any religious words, sentiment or symbolism in your ceremony
unless you specifically request it.
I write and use gentle, light and meaningful wording to create the
ceremony in the way you have told me you envisage it. The
comprehensive and extensive booklets that I have written offer you
choices and ideas for your wedding, naming, same sex
commitment
ceremony, renewal of marriage vows
ceremony or for the funeral ceremony of your
loved one.. When we meet (either
face to face or in cyberspace), I make many suggestions regarding your
ceremony, knowing from my six years of experience, what is likely to
work to help create a ceremony that will be fondly remembered for all
the right reasons.
Each ceremony that I create first and foremost recognises the specific
occasion whether it be a marriage or a naming or any other milestone in
your life. Supporting and surrounding the heart of the ceremony
is the inclusion of your family and friends, acknowledging and
honouring the reasons why they are witnessing and sharing and therefore
contributing, to this significant moment in your lives.
I offer you professional, creative civil ceremonies for a wedding, elopement, name
giving, commitment or affirmation of marriage ceremony, renewal of
vows, significant birthdays, "this is your life story" ceremonies
