I believe that there are very few things in our lives that are as important as a dignified and respectful opportunity to celebrate and acknowledge the life of a cherished member of our family.

I offer a Funeral Ceremony that will genuinely celebrate the significance of a loved one's life.  I neither claim nor imply that I knew the deceased person, but I do spend time with the family, gathering the stories along with the ‘facts and figures’ which assists me to gain an understanding of the characteristics of their loved one.

After spending several hours with the family, I spend many more hours creating a meaningful ceremony that will reflect the character and story of the person whose life has just ended.  In most ceremonies there is a time for tears but there is usually also a time for a smile or two and a little gentle laughter as you share your cherished memories and spend a few moments to reflect on your relationship with that person.

I conduct a Funeral Ceremony with gentleness, warmth and dignity in a professional manner that conveys your respect and love to your guests.

 My service includes:

• a one to two hour informal consultation with the family (and friends if desired) to gather information and details about the deceased person's character and life story.
• a phone consultation with the family before the ceremony to ensure that all the details gathered and written are correct and truly reflect the style and character of the person.
• a beautifully presented 'Keepsake' copy of the eulogy.

Pre-written eulogy writing

Some people choose to have a pre-written eulogy that is done at anytime prior to their death.  This is a great way to ensure accuracy of your story for future generations of your family and it also gives you the opportunity to leave messages for them.  It is a truly wonderful gift to give.  The entire ceremony can be pre-planned and the pre-written eulogy can be used during the funeral ceremony if you wish.
