Elopement, eloping, no fuss,
small, simple, destination weddings
Call it whatever you like, as long as the style and format of the
wedding suits you and is what you’ve both been looking for.
Have you decided that you don’t want a big, fancy, expensive wedding
with all the trimmings but would simply prefer to elope?
Do you want your wedding to be ‘no fuss’ and for it to be exactly what
you want and that you don’t have to cater to what other people want?
Would you prefer not to have to stand in front of a whole lot of people
and share your happiest moments with relatives you haven’t seen for the
last ten years and friends of friends that you’ve never met?
In reality, a wedding can only ever take place between two people – a
bride and a groom. Would you prefer to just share these private,
romantic and particularly meaningful moments with just two witnesses
and your celebrant?
I totally understand your wishes and am willing to support you to
achieve this style of wedding whether it be one that takes around three
minutes and is simply ‘legal’ and nothing else at all, or one that
takes around ten to fifteen minutes and is personalised, warm, friendly
and
wonderful.
Come along and elope to Ballarat or Daylesford – even if you already
live here! There are many lovely, romantic and private places in
both areas that you could choose to be married in and I’m happy to help
you find them.
Make your elopement wedding a ‘destination’ wedding and book some
accommodation in the area and enjoy a romantic dinner after the
ceremony, spend a couple of days exploring what the region has to offer.
Would you rather spend the extra dollars on yourselves and treat
yourselves to some high-class accommodation, a fancy top-of–the range
dinner and a relaxing holiday exploring what these charming regions
have to offer without having to travel overseas or interstate?
Do you wonder ‘what would you would wear’? The answer is –
‘whatever you like’! Jeans and thongs, an elegant after 5 dress
and a suit for the groom – whatever suits you best.
Don’t forget, that an elopement wedding still has to meet all the legal
requirements, specifically of giving one month and one day’s notice (or
one calendar month) to the celebrant. We can make all the
arrangements by a combination of phone, email, snail mail or in person.
Make what is probably the most important day of your relationship, one
that you want. Please have a look at my small
and private
weddings page on this website for more information about this style
of
wedding ceremony and then make a phone call to me so that I can help
you arrange your marriage ceremony.
